The New Zealand labour movement used to have its own newspaper. A group of us thought that now might be a good time for it to be digitally reborn: The Standard v2.0 - now in a new format The Standard v3.0

Ironically, randal, it's the same way for New Labour over there. While the BNP's immigration policies are distasteful as hell, they're fast gaining support as a third party that isn't
A) The new boss
B) The old boss
Voters see the BNP as their only alternative to the two main parties. BNP have policies similar to socialism (apart from the equality aspect) and this is why they're attractive option of the voters, who have had to deal with New Labour.

of course it is too early to give the conservatives the benefit of providing policies that will make them the next british government.
the tories in england are the same as the ones here.
all flash and no substance.
If the british people have any knowledge of what is going on here in New Zealand then they will know that voting in a conservative government is a recipe for social, environmental and economic disaster.
